Tishima was afforded the opportunity to be a featured stylist for Patric Bradley's Cutaholix show in the fall of 2013. She has used her influence to help inspire young girls to chase after their dreams. She participated in the
“Working on my Selfie” Program in Jacksonville, NC. She also spoke at the local Boys and Girls club in Elizabeth City. She talks to young girls about becoming entrepreneurs and going after their goals. She has been fortunate to style K.Michelle, Tahiry from Love and Hip Hop New York, Erica Marie and
Natalie Nunn from the Bad girls Club to name a few. She was an educator at the 2014 SHB International Hair Show in June. She is a published stylist and has been featured in Hair N Motion Magazine two years in a row. She currently travels around the country teaching classes and taking clients.
Is being a celebrity hair stylist everything that you imagined it to be? What are some of the perks if any?
"Yes, it is everything that I imagined. Perks would be, of course, financially, also the opportunities that I have been afforded by working with celebrities that I admire and the experience of traveling around the country."
What’s steps should a stylist take to become a celebrity stylist?
"Sharpening your skills by educating yourself about the type of celebrity you want to work with, get a manager or management company to help with business decisions, and marketing and promoting yourself."
Do you specialize in any particular service?
"I specialize in weaving and wig making."
