You're known for combining precision haircuts with beautiful hair color, what inspires you?
I have always loved creating edgy haircuts but over the past few years I made a choice to learn about hair color and how it works. I am fascinated by color combinations and haircuts to accent them. I am inspired by anything. One day I picked up four fallen leaves off of the ground, went in the salon and created a collaboration of colors that were triggered from the leaves.

As you achieve your career goals, have you found other stylists to be supportive?
My Company launched in December 2013 and in this short amount of time I can honestly say that I have had more stylist for me than against me. So I would certainly have to say "yes" the support thus far has been outstanding!
What do you find most difficult about hairdressing?
The unity amongst each other. Although I am supported to some degree, there is still a huge wedge amongst professionals in my industry.
How do you balance work and home life?
I've gotten to a point in my career that I had to make some tough decisions and risk losing out on tons of income to spend more time with my family. It's necessary right now. There's a lot of opportunities that I don't get to take advantage of but the time that I spend with my family is nonrefundable.
Everybody wants to know what are your favorite products and tools to use?
I cant live without my Patric Bradley Power Tripp, Nairobi foam wrap and Schwarzkopf styling and finishing products. My favorite tools are my Epic Slim irons by One and also my 1/2" Cortex irons. Sensei shears have changed my life.
