 Master stylist Najah Aziz is the owner of Like The River The Salon. Pursuing her passion (hair), she left a 16 year corporate career to open LTR, as a haven for beautification and pampering. Adept at cutting and coloring Najah is an artist who creates styles that compliment her client's face. Najah also founded  Beauty Beyond The Hair. BBTH is a quarterly seminar and workshop. The mission is to inspire hairdressers to implement business and technical practices that elevate the hair profession to new heights of excellence. 

BBTH Short Hair Boot Camp is a one day hands-on training session for the hair professional committed to executing precision cuts and innovative styles.

Like The River The Salon presents SETS IN THE CITY (A Wet Set Lounge). Sundays ONLY just for clients who want a quick shampoo and set. NO curling NO styling, this is why the perfect cut is essential.

 

LTR's signature product is Madinah Oil, named after Najah's sister Madinah. Sadly Madinah loss her battle with cancer. She loved her hair which she did not lose, as Najah recommended Madinah use grapeseed oil daily. Madinah Oil is a custom blend of pure grapeseed and other essential oils. LTR's exclusive creation does not weigh hair down or feel greasy. Madinah Oil is available exclusively at Like The River.

Understanding how great a fresh blowout makes women feel is one reason why Alli chose to make her blowouts an "affordable luxury." With the help of her brother Michael Landau, Drybar has quickly grown opening an astounding 25 locations in only 2 years. The Drybar has 900 employees and does over 40,000 blowouts per month. The bar concept is a creative way to encourage the fun friendly atmosphere. Clients are coiffed and served complimentary champagne, cocktails and croissants, how cool is that. Frequent clients are affectionately refered to as "Barflies." There's even a "Bartab" a monthly membership programs so barflies can prepay for services.
