Bubbles Appearance Enhancer

"I am Belinda Case popularly and affectionately known as Bubbles The Appearance Enhancer, a licensed cosmetologist.
At the tender age of 12 I began doing hair in the neighborhood and I discovered my talent. I was naturally gifted to do hair. In 1992 at the age of 14, I started out as a shampoo assistant at Simply Gorgeous Hair Salon. It wasn't long before my boss Gail Jeffrey knew that I was more than just a shampoo girl/assistant.
She put me to the test and asked me to do some styles that she knew I was capable of doing. With my bubbly attitude and drive to bring forth originality, I became an Appearance Enhancer in my second week as an assistant. It gave me the magnetism to pull people to me. It was the start of something big. I was blessed, my ability improved and my business took off.
"Everywhere I went, everything I touched was enhanced. From clients to co-workers, friends and beyond. Everything I touched turned to "Gold" or whatever color the client wanted their hair.
In 2006 I started my flagship salon HD -Hair Definition INC, 233-08 Merrick Blvd, Rosedale, NY 11422. I was doing all styles, from braids, weaves and short cuts. I quickly realized that the majority of my clients were requesting short to medium cuts. 
My clients were eager to sit in my chair, no matter how long the wait or how much the cost. Clients were telling me about the new attention they were receiving from their mates and or mates (lol). Compliments or jealous behavior.... its all the same to me, the fact was they were getting positive attention because of my enhancement. 
When I work my clients get noticed, self esteem is restored and the beauty on the inside is expressed on the outside!

Do you specialize in one service? If so, what?

"I specialize in short to medium hair, creativity, enhancement and moreover satisfaction."

What products do you prefer?

"I use various products as long as it provides moisture and nutrients to the hair. I'm all in."

Have any stylists inspired you?

"I have not been inspired by one person in particular, just every and anybody whose work looks superb and a cut above the rest. I acknowledge good work and then put my own twist on it."

What advice would you give other stylists?

"My advice to other stylist would be, never ever try to duplicate ones work, always do your own thing. Always try to be an originator and set trends. Everyone does hair, make your work different from the rest."

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

"In the next five years I see myself doing less work, such as hair for entertainers, teaching hair classes and doing shows."

Are there any styles that you will not do?

"Are there any styles that I will not do? Well they say never say never, but in this case I will not do braids."
